Nerve tube resection
The mechanism of columbar neurectomy is to remove the parasympathetic nerves of the nose, so that the blood vessels in the nasal cavity and sinuses are in a constricted state, and at the same time, nasal secretions and lacrimal glands are greatly reduced. The edema of the lamina propria epithelial cell lamina was reduced after excision of the cochlear nerve. The epithelium also returned to a pseudo-stratified state, eosinophils disappeared, and mast cell degranulation was reduced. Therefore, the release of histamine, heparin, and serotonin is also reduced, and the postoperative allergic test may be negative. These results are the theoretical basis for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, vasomotor rhinitis and nasal polyps. Due to the deep position of the wing tube, it is located just below the sphenoid sinus at the root of the sphenoid wing process (Figure 1). The inside of the posterior wall of the maxillary sinus is equivalent to and parallel to the outer side wall of the nasal cavity. . Therefore, it is necessary to perform cochlear canal neurectomy clinically, the operation is complicated, there are many methods, and each has its advantages and disadvantages.
