Omentum resection
Patients with abdominal malignant tumors and peritoneal metastatic cancer need to undergo omental resection and lymph node dissection while performing corresponding organ resection. Omentum is a common site for ovarian cancer metastasis. Conventional resection of the omentum is not only conducive to postoperative chemotherapy or radiotherapy, reduces ascites production, prevents adhesions or the formation of masses, and intestinal obstruction caused by compression of the intestinal canal. 5-year survival rate of patients.
