Nasal polyp removal

The air passes through the narrow nasal cavity (such as the curved nasal septum), which generates negative pressure in its adjacent tissues, which reduces the pressure of extravascular fluids and increases tissue edema. Excessive fluid in the ethmoid sinus or maxillary sinus loosens and accumulates water to form polyps. Cystic fibrosis should be considered in children with multiple polyps, also known as gummy mucus disease
