Cerebrospinal fluid isocitrate dehydrogenase

There are more than 20 types known in normal cerebrospinal fluid, less than serum. The activity is far lower than that of serum, and most enzymes cannot penetrate the blood-brain barrier and are not affected by the level of serum enzyme activity.
