Masses in the esophagus

Masses that form in the esophagus are common in esophageal cancer. Esophageal carcinoma is a common malignant tumor in humans that accounts for 2% of all malignancies and accounts for more than 90% of esophageal tumors. It ranks second only to gastric cancer in the retrospective survey of all malignant tumor deaths. It is estimated that about 200,000 people die from esophageal cancer every year in the world. China is a region with a high incidence of esophageal cancer, and it is one of the most common malignant tumors that cause great harm to people's lives and health. The age of onset is more than 40 years old, more men than women. However, in recent years, there has been an increase in the number of people under the age of 40. The occurrence of esophageal cancer is related to chronic stimulation of nitrosamines, inflammation and trauma, genetic factors, and trace elements in drinking water, food and vegetables. But the exact reason is not clear and needs to be studied and explored.
