Clue cell

The clue cell refers to a morphological manifestation of a large number of anaerobic bacteria such as Gardnerella attached to vaginal exfoliated epithelial cells. At the edge of the cell, a large number of particles are attached, namely, Gardnerella. Bacteria are unclear.
