Acid phosphatase staining

Acid phosphatase activity is present in most blood cells. Under acidic conditions, acid phosphatase in the cytoplasm can be hydrolyzed and then interact with lead nitrate and amine sulfate to produce brown yellow or brown yellow lead sulfate precipitation.
