Fibrinolysis time
The function of the fibrinolytic system in the human body plays an active role in maintaining normal blood flow. If this function is exerted excessively, blood coagulation is reduced. Euglobulin dissolution time is a preliminary screening test to detect the function of the fibrinolytic system, which can roughly reflect the fibrinolytic activity, check for hidden elevated fibrinolytic activity, or be used as a follow-up for thrombolytic therapy. Euglobulin contains components such as fibrinogen, plasminogen, and plasmin activator. Normally, blood euglobulin is stable.
