Faecium

Bilirubin in normal human bile is decomposed into faecium and bile by the bacteria at the end of the ileum and the colon, and part of it is reabsorbed into the enterohepatic circulation by the intestine. Most of it is oxidized to bilirubin in the colon and is excreted with the feces.
