Pilocarpine sweat test

Pilocarpine test: one of the methods of sweat test. The secretion of sweat glands depends on the number of sweat glands, the functional state and the excitability of the sympathetic nerve in the site. Skin damage involves sweat glands and sweat dysfunction can occur. After giving a certain amount of pilocarpine, the lateral horn cells of the spinal cord, sympathetic ganglia, and postganglionic fibers were stimulated to observe skin sweating.
