Urine leucine aminopeptidase
Leucine aminopeptidase is widely present in various human tissues and is also distributed in urine. When the kidney is severely damaged, which causes pathological changes in the renal parenchyma, the leucine aminopeptidase in urine is significantly increased. Determination of urine leucine aminopeptidase can help clinical diagnosis of kidney or extrarenal disease.
