Milk aspiration pneumonia
Milk aspiration pneumonia occurs because milk is sucked into the respiratory tract when swallowed or because the prolonged emptying time in the pharynx causes residual milk to be sucked into the lungs. During vomiting or galactorrhea, milk is sucked into the respiratory tract, often with incentives.
