Zieve syndrome

Zieve syndrome is also known as alcoholic hyperlipidemia syndrome, jaundice transient hyperlipidemia-hemolytic anemia syndrome, alcoholism hyperlipidemia hemolytic syndrome. It was first reported by Zieve in 1958, and Balcerzak was named Zieve Syndrome in 1968. It refers to a group of diseases of jaundice, hyperlipidemia, and hemolytic anemia in patients with chronic alcoholism.
