Small eye fissure
Introduction
Introduction Eye cracks are fissures formed between the upper and lower eyelids, which are commonly referred to as eyelids. The important factors affecting the size of the eye crack are the inner skin, followed by the outer one. The inner suede refers to an extra-half-shaped skin wrinkle connecting the upper and lower eyelids at the inner corner of the eye, covering the intersection of the upper and lower eyeliner of the inner palate and the inner lake, meat, etc., so that the inner corner of the eye is an obtuse angle, giving a kind of The feeling of widening the distance and shortness of the eye. The length of the adult splitting is 20-30 mm, and the width (the widest point) is 10-15 mm. The width of the splitting can be determined by visual observation and measurement.
Cause
Cause
The cause of small cracks in the eye: The important factor affecting the size of the eye crack is the internal epidermis, followed by the external hemorrhoids.
Examine
an examination
Small cracks in the eye:
In general, the eyeball is too prominent or the distance between the eyebrows and the upper edge of the eyelid is too close (less than 18mm), or the length of the eye is shorter (the so-called small eye crack, the normal eye crack length is about 34mm). The symptoms of lateral sphenoid ridge meningioma appearing in the outer 1/3 of the sphenoid ridge are relatively late. The tumor occurs in the sphenoid wing, causing hyperplasia of the lateral wall and ankle of the eyelid, narrowing of the eyelid, or direct invasion of the tumor into the iliac crest. Causes the eye to protrude.
Histopathological examination: The intracranial meningioma has the same tissue structure as the intraorbital meningioma. The tumor cells are round or oval, and the cell boundaries are unclear.
Diagnosis
Differential diagnosis
Small and confusing symptoms of eye cracks:
Eye slanting and skewing: It is one of the clinical symptoms of pediatric eye-ear-spine syndrome. 60% to 70% of the cases of this syndrome occur in boys, and their clinical manifestations are more complicated. About 10% of cases are mentally retarded, while most cases show only partial signs. The main signs are as follows. 1. Eye, corneal cutaneous tumor, eyelid defect, ptosis, small cornea and small eyeball, ocular fissure, cataract, etc. 2. The ear has a pair of ears, a front ear tube, a deafness and a lack of external auditory canal. 3. Facial deformities, such as small deformity, rabbit lips, giant mouth (cheek transverse crack), humeral hypoplasia, uneven teeth and so on. 4. Spinal deformity, manifested as different forms of lateral curvature and bone healing, but also rib abnormalities, skull deformities, limb and foot deformities. 5. Others, there may be cardiovascular malformations, lungs, kidneys, teeth and intelligent abnormalities.
Reduction of eyelids: 1/3 of the sphenoid ridges, lateral sphenoid ridges and meningioma symptoms appear later, tumors occur in the sphenoid wing, causing hyperplasia of the lateral wall and ankle of the orbit, narrowing of the eyelids, or direct tumor Invading the sputum causes the eyeball to protrude. Histopathological examination: The intracranial meningioma has the same tissue structure as the intraorbital meningioma. The tumor cells are round or oval, and the cell boundaries are unclear.
Small eyeball: visible in congenital small eyeball (CMIC), is a congenital abnormal eye disease, mainly characterized by the anterior and posterior diameter of the eyeball is smaller than the normal range, the cleft palate is narrow, the eyelid is small, and the eyeball is deeply trapped in the eyelid.
Reduction of field of view: only the change of the boundary, the vision in this field of view is normal, and the position of the line of sight within it does not change. A reduction in visual field is rare, and it is seen in ipsilateral hemianopia or other compressional damage.
