According to the seasonal incidence of the patient's spring, repeated occurrence, manifested as mild facial erythema, papules, scales, no clear history of exposure to sensitizing substances (patients often do not perceive which contact with allergens), can make a preliminary diagnosis. If it can be used for allergen testing, serum IgE determination is helpful for diagnosis.

Diagnosis

Differential diagnosis

The disease should be differentiated from seborrheic dermatitis, cosmetic dermatitis, and solar dermatitis. Seborrheic dermatitis is also common in the head and face, with light red patches, more with greasy scales, four seasons can occur, no seasonality. Cosmetic dermatitis has a clear history of cosmetic application before the onset of the disease. The rash area is consistent with the cosmetic use site, the boundary is clear, and the positive test of the cosmetic patch is helpful for diagnosis. Solar dermatitis is a skin disease caused by UV allergy. It also has obvious seasonality. It often occurs in the spring or early summer season. The rash is found on the exposed parts of the face, upper chest, forearm and back of the hand. After sun exposure for 2 hours to 5 Skin lesions occur in the light part of the day to avoid the rash after sun exposure. Photoexcitation test or spot patch test is of great value for diagnosis.
