Insulin-stimulated gastric secretion test

The insulin-stimulated gastric secretion test (hypoglycemia stimulation test) is performed by the following principle. Insulin injection significantly lowers blood sugar, which excites the vagus nerve. When the vagus nerve branch is cut, it will no longer respond to insulin stimulation to judge the effect of the operation.
