Anti-single-stranded DNA antibody

Anti-ssDNA is a kind of anti-DNA antibody that has less clinical significance and importance than anti-dsDNA. DNA is a complex of large molecules and a double helix structure formed by two nucleotide chains. When heated, the hydrogen bonds between the bases are broken, and the DNA is denatured to produce ssDNA. The reaction site of anti-ssDNA is mainly bases composed of purines and pyrimidines on ssDNA.
