Lower limbs scissor gait
Scissor gait in the lower limbs is a clinical manifestation of spastic bilateral lower limb paralysis due to cerebral palsy. Scissors gait is due to increased muscle tension in the lower extremities, especially in the extensor muscles. The lower limbs are excessively adducted when moving, and the legs cross like scissors.
