Lightning pain
Trigeminal neuralgia is a sudden throbbing pain that manifests itself at a certain point on the face, mouth, and mandible. Sudden flashes of throbbing pain occur suddenly. First reported by French Nicolas Andri in 1756. Since most of them are accompanied by facial muscle twitches, they are called "painful twitches". Refers to a recurring transient paroxysmal pain confined to the trigeminal innervation zone. Can be divided into two kinds of primary and secondary.
