Orbital floor fracture repair

Old orbital floor fractures, lowered eye position, limited eye rotation. Precautions for repair of orbital floor fractures: 1. When disinfecting and covering surgical towels, both eyes should be exposed to facilitate observation and comparison during surgery. 2. The hydroxyapatite plate is placed under the periosteum just below the orbit, to the depth of the posterior wall of the eyeball. 3. For patients with obvious invagination, appropriately increasing the width and depth of the implantation plate can improve the degree of invagination at the same time. 4. If there is a bone defect in the infraorbital wall, the implanted hydroxyapatite plate should be larger than the defect.
