Nasal papilloma removal
Localized papilloma in the nasal cavity. Nasal papilloma removal considerations: 1. Surgical removal of papilloma should be 0.5cm around the tumor, and the root pedicle should be cut deep to reduce the chance of relapse. 2. If the papilloma invades the maxillary sinus, the maxillary sinus can be opened by radical maxillary sinus surgery. The tumor tissue in the sinus and the mucosa of the sinus cavity can be stripped and removed, and drainage of the hole can be completed at the lower nasal passage. 3. If nasal papilloma is found to invade the ethmoid sinus during surgery, the papilloma in the ethmoid sinus can be removed by intranasal curettage. 4. The tumor has a wide range. When patients who have recurred multiple operations and invaded the ethmoid sinus and maxillary sinus cannot be completely removed by intranasal surgery, the tumor can be removed more extensively by nasal incision. 5. Resected tumors should be routinely examined for pathology. If cancerous patients are found, they should be treated according to the principle of malignant tumor treatment.
