Cerebrospinal fluid tryptophan test

An examination of cerebrospinal fluid. Tryptophan test (TrpT) is a method for checking cerebrospinal fluid. Positive results are found in tuberculous meningitis, purulent meningitis, cerebral hemorrhage, subarachnoid hemorrhage, and severe jaundice.
