Disadvantages of gypsum closure therapy are heavy odor and long course of treatment, and often patients are reluctant to receive treatment; some patients are neither suitable for dish surgery or gypsum closure therapy. The pedicled muscle flap filling is based on the removal of the lesion, and is filled with the pedicled muscle flap near the bone cavity to eliminate the dead space and suture the wound in one stage.
