133Xe cerebral blood flow measurement and imaging

133Xe cerebral blood flow measurement and imaging: 133Xenon (133Xe, Xenon-133) is a fat-soluble inert gas that can freely pass through the normal blood-brain barrier after entering the blood circulation, is taken up by brain cells through a diffuse method, and then quickly cleared from brain tissue. The clearance of brain tissue is positively correlated with rCBF. By measuring the clearance of 133Xe of brain tissue in each region, rCBF and CBF can be calculated.
