Abdominal wall reflex

The compound abdominal wall reflex is a person lying in the supine position, flexing their knees, and using hard objects to slide on the upper abdomen, middle abdomen, and lower abdomen, respectively, and you will see local abdominal muscle contraction. For patients with intracranial lesions, such as those with hemiplegia, the central nervous system is damaged, and one side of the reflex will weaken or disappear.
