DNA polymerase
Genes are the material basis of heredity, which determines the biological characteristics of pathogens. Except for individual viruses, all known microorganisms use nucleic acid as genetic material. The gene of hepatitis B virus is DNA, which is closely related to the DNA polymerase necessary for virus replication. So genetic testing becomes part of the hepatitis B test.
