Corticotropin stimulation test
The corticotropin (ACTH) stimulation test is a test performed by ① an 8-hour intravenous drip method, and then measuring urine free cortisol ② a rapid method, and drawing blood to detect cortisol. Polycystic ovary syndrome responded normally, and 17-ketosterol and 17-hydroxysterol increased significantly in patients with adrenal cortical dysfunction.
