Lipoprotein glomerulopathy

Lipoprotein glomerulopathy is a new kidney disease recognized in recent years. Its pathological characteristics are the presence of lipoprotein emboli in the glomerular capillaries and extrarenal lipoprotein embolization. The clinical manifestations are similar to type III hyperlipidemia with elevated plasma apolipoprotein E (apo E).
