Mycobacterium tuberculosis serology

Serological examination of Mycobacterium tuberculosis includes a variety of embedded antigens, crude antigens of tuberculosis bacteria, purified antigens, corresponding antigens of monoclonal antibodies, and antigens of recombinant protein of tuberculosis bacteria, such as 38kD and LAM. When patients are infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, antibodies (anti-TB) are positive in serum from 40% to 70% of patients. This test is used for the auxiliary diagnosis and differential diagnosis of various suspected tuberculosis infectious diseases.
