Tumor suppressor gene Rb

The tumor suppressor gene Rb gene is the first cloned tumor suppressor gene. It was originally found in children's retinoblestoma, so it is called the Rb gene. 27 exons, 26 introns, encoding 928 amino acid residues (p105). The anti-cancer properties of the Rb gene have two meanings: first, the Rb protein can inhibit cell growth in normal cells; second, the Rb gene can inhibit its growth and tumorigenicity in tumor cells.
