Vaginal metastatic tumor
The vagina and ovaries are the most common sites of cancer metastasis in the female reproductive tract. Tumors of the genital tract itself and other parts of the genital tract may metastasize to the vagina. Most come from cervical, uterine and vulvar cancers. Metastatic tumors are most common in vaginal tumors, and primary vaginal cancers are relatively rare. It is easy to misdiagnose metastatic cancers as primary vaginal tumors, which brings certain difficulties to diagnosis and treatment. Primary vaginal cancer does not involve the cervix or vulva.
