Anti-CCP

Anti-cyclic peptide containing citrulline (anti-CCP): Anti-cyclic peptide containing citrulline (anti-CCP): is a polypeptide fragment of a cyclic polyguanidine protein, mainly IgG-type antibodies. Anti-CCP antibodies are spontaneously secreted by B lymphocytes in patients with RA, while B lymphocytes in patients with other diseases and the normal population do not secrete anti-CCP antibodies. Therefore, anti-CCP antibodies have higher specificity for RA. Its sensitivity is 76% and specificity is 96%.
