Pediatric Affective Cross Scrub Syndrome

Emotional cross leg rub syndrome (masturbation syndrome) is a syndrome of unknown etiology that has not been uniformly treated. More common in children. Refers to the repeated behavior of children rubbing their external genitalia with their hands or other objects, also known as masturbation. Almost all children can experience such behaviors, whether they are mild or severe, during their growth and development. Babies around half a year old can appear, but they are more common after 2 years old, most of them are more obvious from early childhood to preschool age, most disappear after school, and increase significantly after puberty. There are more boys than girls.
