Hemoglobin natriuretic peptide
Atrial natriuretic peptide is an active polypeptide synthesized, stored and secreted by the atrium, also known as atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) or atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP). Has strong natriuretic, diuretic, diastolic blood vessels, lowers blood pressure and fights the renin-angiotensin system and antidiuretic hormone effect. Determination of serum ANP activity is used to diagnose and monitor the course and efficacy of patients with heart failure.
