Cholecystectomy

Cholecystectomy is a common operation in biliary surgery. There are two types: retrograde (from the gallbladder duct) and retrograde (from the bottom of the gallbladder) resection. An anterograde cholecystectomy with less bleeding and easy surgery should be preferred. However, when the inflammation is severe, the gallbladder is closely adhered to the surrounding organs, and it is not easy to expose the gallbladder duct and gallbladder artery, it is advisable to use retrograde resection. Sometimes it takes a combination of both.
