Serum troponin I and troponin T
Troponin is a regulator of muscle contraction and is composed of three different subunits, namely troponin T (TnT), troponin I (TnI), and troponin C (TnC. Troponin relaxes the muscle Actin, which allows the interaction of myosin and sarcoplasmin, causing muscle contraction. The structure of T and I subunits in the heart muscle is different from other muscle tissues. The molecular weight is small, so the blood concentration rises rapidly after the onset.
