Pulse
Pulse refers to the pulsation of the arteries. The pressure changes caused by the heart beat cause the aortic wall to vibrate and pass along the wall of the arterial wall to the periphery, forming a pulse. Pulses are usually referred to as pulses coming from the radial side of the wrist.
