Hematospermia

Hematospermia is a common disease in andrology and urology and refers to the presence of blood in semen. The most common cause of hemospermia is seminal vesicular adenitis, followed by prostatitis and posterior urethritis or posterior urethral congestion. Hematospermia is a benign, self-limiting disease that requires only conservative treatment.
