Pediatric serum disease
Serum disease is a characteristic autoimmune disease caused by the entry of foreign antigenic substances (allogeneic animal serum and certain drugs, such as penicillin, sulfa, etc.) into the body. The clinical manifestations are mostly acute or subacute. Elevated body temperature, urticaria, joint symptoms, etc. occurred during the course of serum disease.
