Visceral larva migration syndrome is Loffler syndrome, also known as simple idiopathic eosinophilia (PIE). It is a kind of pulmonary allergic syndrome. It has mild or no fever, conscious fatigue, loss of appetite, sweating at night, and slight dry cough. Severe fever may include high fever, paroxysmal cough, and sputum stickiness. Or even hemoptysis and difficulty breathing. Auscultation of the lungs may include wheezing or wet croaking; percussion may sometimes be dull. Younger children often have liver enlargement.
