Dysfunction of platelet release in children
Defects in platelet release are a very heterogeneous group of disorders, and they are also inherited. Some of the inheritance methods have not been fully understood. The process of releasing the contents of the platelet storage particles outside the platelets by OCS under the action of an inducer is called a release (secretion) response. If there is a problem in the storage of particles or some part of the release reaction process, this group of diseases can occur. Most laboratory tests have prolonged bleeding; platelet counts are normal or slightly reduced. Common manifestations are excessive bleeding such as nosebleeds, ecchymosis, menstruation and delivery, tooth extraction and tonsillectomy, clinical manifestations of mild to moderate bleeding, and occasional severe bleeding deaths.
