Pulmonary hydatid disease

Hydatid cyst disease is a systemic parasitic disease. It is a cystic disease caused by parasitic larvae of Echinococcus granulosus (Echinococcus canis) in the lungs. It is mainly prevalent in areas where animal husbandry is well developed.
