Propeptidase deficiency

Prolidase deficiency is an autosomal recessive genetic disease. Often involve the central nervous system of the skin, eyes, ears, nose, pharynx, bones and joints. Laboratory tests are characterized by loss of prolidase activity and iminodipeptideuria. First reported by Goodman and others in 1968.
