Spontaneous rupture of tuberculous bladder

Although spontaneous rupture of tuberculous bladder is rare, it is the first in spontaneous rupture of bladder. According to the European and American literatures, 80 cases of spontaneous bladder rupture were the ones that occurred most frequently in bladder tuberculosis, accounting for 12.5%. Of the 18 cases reported in China, 11 were caused by bladder tuberculosis. Among the 5 cases of spontaneous bladder rupture treated in our hospital from 1970 to 1975, 4 cases were tuberculous. Therefore, it should be taken seriously clinically. The age of onset of this disease is mostly between 15 and 25 years. There is no significant difference in foreign data on gender. However, domestic data of 15 cases of spontaneous rupture of tuberculous bladder were all female.
