Pediatric renal tuberculosis
Renal tuberculosis (tuberculosis of kidney) refers to secondary infection caused by tuberculosis from the lungs or other organs. The onset of the disease is slow and there are no obvious symptoms in the early stage. In severe cases, refractory urinary tract irritation is the main clinical manifestation. It is more common in young people aged 20 to 40, and it is more common in men than in women. Renal tuberculosis is the initial focus of tuberculosis of the urinary system and male reproductive system. Tuberculosis can gradually spread from the kidneys to the ureters, bladder and urethra, and urine containing tuberculosis bacteria can spread to the reproductive system through the urethra, ejaculation tube and prostate tube.
