Simple pulmonary eosinophil infiltration
Luvliu first described the disease in 1932, hence the name Luvliu syndrome. It is characterized by migratory pulmonary infiltration with increased peripheral blood eosinophil counts, mild pulmonary symptoms, most of which are only mild cough, and the course of the disease is self-limiting, often healing within 3 to 4 weeks.
