This type is also known as flexion (rotation) fracture and dislocation, and it is also a clinically severe type. Easy to be accompanied by spinal cord injury, but lighter than the former. However, the incidence of this type is relatively low, accounting for about 7% to 9% of cases of wedge fractures caused by flexion violence.
