Tin pneumoconiosis

Metal dust refers to the small solid particles of metal and its compounds suspended in the air for a long time, also known as metal aerosol. Tin (tin) is a silver-white, slightly blue metal with physical characteristics such as low melting point, high boiling point, high toughness, and strong corrosion resistance. The industry is mainly used for the manufacture of brass, bronze, and barbiturate, and the food industry. Tinplate and tin foil are commonly used as packaging materials. The common feature of metal dust deposits is that the chest X-rays of exposed workers show X-ray signs mainly of small circular shadows with increased density and clear edges. The lung X-ray shadows can resolve on their own after a certain period of time after stopping dust exposure (Ie, self-cleaning), the patient's symptoms are not obvious, and the lung tissue has no obvious fibrosis.
