Colon polyps
It is a type of raised lesion protruding from the surface of the mucosa into the intestinal cavity of the colon. It is called colonic polyp until the pathological properties are determined. According to the pathology, it can be divided into adenoma-like polyps (including papillary adenomas). Inflammatory polyps, intestinal mucosa are proliferated as a result of prolonged inflammation, hamartoma-type polyps, and others, such as hyperplasia of mucous membranes to form proliferative polyps, lymphoid tissue hyperplasia, and carcinoid diseases.
