Aortic dissection in elderly
Aortic dissection is an intramural hematoma formed by the destruction of the aorta intima or middle layer and the circulation of blood into the middle layer of the aortic wall, also known as aortic dissection hematoma. This type of peeling hematoma of the aortic wall can expand along the artery, invade the branches of the aorta, and can cause massive bleeding to the adventitia of the arterial wall. Sometimes the distal endometrium is broken into the aortic cavity, which can temporarily relieve the condition . The onset of the disease is rapid, the symptoms are complex, and the changes quickly and easily misdiagnosed. If not treated in time, the mortality rate is extremely high.
